Publish efficiently: Work on your manuscript, receive targeted feedback, and learn strategies for successful journal submissions.

This course is designed for all researchers who wish to write a scholarly publication. Participants of all experience levels are welcome, and the course offers practical support to all participants in the writing process.

All participants will work on their own manuscript, which is scheduled to be submitted to a peer-reviewed journal in the coming months. During a half-day in-person session, specific steps for drafting a first version will be discussed. During an online course day, participants work on their own text (in breakout rooms) and receive timely, individualized feedback from the instructor to help them move closer to their goals. This online course day concludes with brief input from the instructor on topics such as “how do I write a discussion section?”, “how do I submit to a journal?”, “what should be included in the cover letter?”, etc.

The course is interactive, and thanks to constructive, clear instructions provided in a supportive atmosphere, participants often make unexpected progress on their writing. The instructor will provide specific custom GPTs designed for revising manuscripts.
